Alicia Zwanikken

Lawyer

Alicia has been working as a lawyersince 2019. She specialises in transport law and particularly in carriage by sea, road and logistics. Alicia has a broad advisory practice on (international) carriage of goods. She deals with disputes concerning damage and liability and has considerable experience drafting and negotiating logistical contracts.

Alicia was previously employed as a transport law legal adviser with a trade association and as a university lecturer for the master Maritime & Transport Law and Commercial Law, a study programme that she completed with honours herself. Alicia regularly publishes articles on developments in transport and insurance law journals and is a member of the editorial staff of the Journal Transport & Law (Tijdschrift Vervoer & Recht).

Alicia is a member of the Dutch Transport Law Association (NVV) and the Young Maritime Lawyers Association (YMLA).
