The aviation team at Van Traa has a broad advisory and litigation practice. They represent various air carriers, insurers and other parties from the international aviation sector in matters concerning:

The aviation team has assisted airlines and their insurers in the handling of major aviation losses such as the MH17 shoot down in July 2014 involving 198 Dutch citizens and the Afriqiyah Airways crash in May 2010, involving 71 Dutch citizens.
